Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the booking process?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • How far in advance should I book?

If you have your date and venue booked, I would book your dream suppliers as soon as you are able to to avoid any disappointment. My 2025 diary is officially open now.

  • How much deposit do you require?

I require a £100 non refundable and non transferable deposit to secure your wedding date. This is then deducted from the total cost of your booking.

  • When do trials take place?

Typically bridal trials take place 2-3 months prior to your wedding date, and I will contact you when it i time to boo this in. However, if you would prefer your bridal trial earlier, please let me know and we can book this in for you.

  • What do I bring to my bridal trial?

You don’t need to know the exact look you are after, that’s what trials are for! But I would suggest looking at images and find elements that you like. We can then come up with the perfect wedding day look for yourself.

I would suggest wearing a white or ivory colour top (or the colour your dress/suit is). This will give you a clearer idea of the complete look.

  • Can I bring people to my trial?

I am more than happy for you to bring a friend or relative to your bridal trial! Just please let me know beforehand. I usually only allow a maximum of 3 extra people, as this is your trial and it is yourself that needs to be 100% happy with the finished look.

  • Can I book a trial before I book in for my wedding?

Hopefully you have looked through my work and feel my style suits you and your wedding day, but I completely understand that it is a very big decision! I am happy to do bridal trials prior to you booking, however I will not be able to hold your wedding date if another bride wants to book me for your wedding date.

  • How long does makeup take to apply on the wedding morning?

I allow 45 minutes for each makeup application. I also add an extra 30 minutes to set up and pack up my kit - not only do I have my makeup, but I also bring a chair and lighting. I will also stay around to make sure everyone is happy, and if any touch ups are needed before you walk down the aisle!

  • How many people can you do on the wedding morning?

I am happy to accommodate to the size of your bridal party. I have previously done makeup for bridal parties with 8 members. This can’t always be possible though, and there are a few factors to consider, such as the time you want to start getting ready, the time the bridal suite is open, time you need to be ready for and the amount of makeup application needed. If you are unsure, please contact me with all the details and I will be able to assist with the schedule and advise if a second makeup artist is needed.

I do have a number of makeup artists I have previously worked with, and if a second bridal artist is required, an additional cost of £65 is required.

  • What happens if I don't know how many people in the bridal party require makeup services?

I understand that it can be difficult to know exactly how many people in the bridal party that require makeup services. I am very flexible in adding more people to your booking, just make sure to put you are unsure of numbers in your inquiry form.

Please note that I usually don’t travel for less than 2 people in the bridal party.

  • What happens if I have booked and I now need to change the amount of makeup services needed?

If you need to change the amount of makeup services you need, please let me know as soon as possible. I do not usually travel for less than 2 people in a wedding party, however if you have any questions send me a message or email to discuss your booking. I will always try my very best to accommodate my brides.

If you want to reduce the number of makeup services and your wedding is less than 4 weeks away, unfortunately you will still need to pay the full amount originally quoted.

  • How far do you travel for weddings?

I mainly cover the West Midlands area. However, I am more than happy to travel further for your special day.

There is no charge for the first 10 miles to the location you are getting ready on your wedding day. There will be a charge of 0.50p for each mile after this.

If the location is over 2 hours away, an overnight stay the night before the wedding will be required. The hotel will be agreed between both myself and the bride.
